Yay Netflix!
Take the zombies from the Dawn of the Dead remake. Put them into a two hour episode of Cops. Add Starship Troopers style propaganda and advertising. Add World War Z (the book) story telling. Sprinkle with that last Romero turd where the zombies started to display intelligence. Oh, and film all action scenes in the quick cut, shaky cam style of the first Bourne movie.
That's Re-Kill.
The concept and way it was filmed had me interested, but the acting, story/dialogue, and action were bad. Not bad enough for me to regret seeing the film though. It had just enough of an edge, just enough freshness for me to be entertained. I should note that it isn't scary in the least.
See it if you're a zombie genre fan.
