A kid with behavioral issues goes to live with a new foster family in the New Zealand country. One thing leads to another and he and Sam Neill are on the run from the law.
Don't come expecting a ton of action or gore, this is a character piece. Good acting, not great but good. It would fall into the dramady camp as there's serious bits and some humor. (Nowhere near as funny as What We Do In The Shadows though.)
I'd be curious to see what others believe the underlying meaning of the movie to be, as I believe it to be about family making us civilized.
