Rented this because of my new love for Anna Kendrick.
This movie is based on a real life Craigslist ad. The real story is far more boring than the film though.
Two brothers ruin every event they attend so their family has an intervention prior to their sister's wedding. They MUST get two nice girls to bring as dates. So the guys advertise on Craigslist for dates to this destination wedding.
Meanwhile, two loser girls who party way too much decide to win this "free vacation".
This movie isn't about the story, but the stunts and jokes they can fit into the story. There's some really funny stuff here that will get your misses laughing as much as you. In fact, I'd argue that this movie is really about the women, not the men. Zac and Adam take a back seat to Anna and Aubrey and Sugar Lyn (her real name). The ladies' stories are what really drives this film, and Zac and Adam are really plot devices. On a side note, Sugar Lyn does a couple of pretty funny nude scene.
I was expecting this to completely suck, so I was surprised to be entertained. No classic, but some good laughs.
