Silent Night

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Silent Night

Post by Malcolm »

Synopsis:
An unnecessary semi-remake of Silent Night, Deadly Night.

Review:
Malcolm McDowell and Jaime King are cops in a town when a serial killing Santa shows up during Christmas time. An absolutely boring horror flick that made 10x overseas than it did here. The script is crap. I firmly believe Malcolm didn't even look at it and just ad-libbed everything. He appears to be channeling every backwoods sheriff he's ever seen portrayed on the big screen, but saying them with his British accent makes them seem about as out of place as an Academy Award for acting on Keanu Reeves's mantle. The kills are telegraphed, the plot is tired, and the director can't decide if he's going for horror, comedy, or anywhere in between.

Verdict:
You've spent actual Christmases with your family that've been scarier.
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."
