Wtf? This was a one gimmick flick. That gimmick has been done to the point of not only parody, but self-parody.

I was listening to the Flickering Myth podcast while mowing this weekend and they discussed this film. Apparently, this was originally a movie called The Woods. However, suits thought slapping "Blair Witch" on it would earn it a few more dollars, ala 10 Cloverfield Lane, which was originally called The Cellar, and also, Valencia.
