Joseph Gordon Levitt, Seth Rogan, and Anthony Mackie are lifelong best friends trying to find a mythical Christmas party when life happens.
Not great. Not terrible. Somewhere in the middle. Definitely some big laughs, but a LOT of confusing decisions on where the story is going and why. The best laughs come from Seth as he gets wasted on various drugs, I know...shocking. JGL's stuff is a love story and not really humorous. Mackie's stuff is about acceptance of what you have rather than what you want.
Truly a mixed bag of a movie. There are times when it's dull and trying to have feels, and then times when it's over the top ridiculous.
Cameos by faces you'd expect and some you won't, including Zod (the new one).
Should be free and on the services like Netflix by Christmas, watch it then.
