Lights Out

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Lights Out

I'm not saying he ripped it off, but he may have ripped it off. "He" is horror hack James Wan, responsible for such travesties as Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring.

Amazingly, this is 100% on RT with 7 reviews from critics, 3 from real ones. More impressive is the fact it's going with a PG-13 rating.

They make no bones about where the film's origin lies. The woman in the trailer is even the same woman from the short.

Get used to him. He's a hot name in Hollywood right now. He's being courted for bigger projects outside of horror too...

Yeah, but did he make that short film or did he simply shove enough cash/coke in front of the real writer and buy it?

Isn't that how everything in Hollywood gets made?

If women truly understood the power of blowjobs, men would be a slave class.

It sucked. Big time.

Mom was crazy and befriended another nutjob who was vulnerable to light. After things happen the mom is somehow a conduit for the light sensitive nutjob.

Despite having incredible abilities to move like The Flash in the shadows and hit like Captain America with Wolverine's claws nobody dies. Ok, three people die, but they're all bit roles. Two have maybe 15 seconds of screen time total. Not a joke.

Suckfest.

Your argument about Joss Whedon makes your statement wrong, so...

But yeah, I think you're right about Wan. Saw is the best thing he's ever made.
