At 'Dem Flicks w\ Malcolm - A Nightmar on Elm Street II

There's only two dudes that do a halfway decent job of acting. All the sympathetic characters out outdone by Robert Russler. If you know who that is, it's a harsh criticism on everyone else in the film. Robert Englund tries to make something of a performance, but the absolutely bullshit, nonsequitar writing & half-assed amateur directing handcuff him at every opportunity. Even Renny Harlin directed a better Freddy sequel that this. The acting between the leads almost makes Hayden & Natalie look like Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall. The only bright spot of this movie would be some of the make-up effects. The plot moves beyond "fucking stupid" about twenty minutes into the film. If you've got a choice between rubbing your balls in A1 steak sauce & then dipping them into a colony of army ants or watching this film, you'll find yourself weighing the options for at least ten minutes.
