Buckaroo Bonzai

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

There's two things wrong with Leisher's statement.

There's potential there for greatness. And if it goes wrong, we will always have an excellent classic movie to make us feel better.

New things can't ruin childhoods, at worst they can hurt the here and now. Worth the risk.

Significantly less cool: Smith also says he’d want to cast himself in “the John Bigbooté role.”
Hopefully someone will talk him the fuck out of that.

Could've been way worse. They could've gotten some four-time reject, no talent hack. They could've gotten Joss. At least Kevin's made things worth watching.

You made it plural, so I can only assume you're talking about Jersey Girl. But I'm just not the J Lo/Ben Affleck fan that you are.

Both Clerks movies alone are at least decent, as is Mall Rats. Since I can never pass up a chance ... fuck Jersey Girl.

Dogma is good, IMO.

But then I liked both Chasing Amy and Jersey Girl, so what the fuck do I know?

I think this will be as useful as the Robocop reboot. Leave well enough alone.

I don't think I ever saw the original, but my dad loved it.

The other day I had brought groceries in from the car. I stack them at the front door before I remove my shoes to walk them into the kitchen. I left a big watermelon in the middle of the living room floor. The wife walks in from work later, I point at it and say, "Hey, what's that watermelon doing there?"

Tell me you have footage. Hmm, I guess you'd need someone in the room that got the joke, too. Nm.

Exactly. She didn't get the joke at all.

This literally happened three days ago. Topical.

If the series turns out good it could bring Buckaroo to a whole new generation. That's worth something.
