Academy Awards 2016

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The way he phrased it, he's actually referencing Clinton.
Adam McKay dumps on Trump: “The Big Short” director referenced the ongoing presidential election campaign when accepting the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. In a dig at Republican front-runner Donald Trump, McKay said: “If you don’t want big money to control government, don’t vote for candidates that take money from big banks, oil or weirdo billionaires: Stop!”

He didn't say "don't vote for the weirdo billionaire"

I agree with Catt.

Trump's a nutjob, but he's not a "paid for" nutjob. That would be Clinton.

Yeah, I totally think he's talking about Clinton, or maybe Clinton and Trump. But definitely Clinton
And, ever politically outspoken, the Bernie Sanders backer urged viewers to avoid voting for candidates “who take money from big banks, oil or weirdo billionaires. Stop!”

I think his parallelism is very off. I assume what he meant is...
don’t vote for candidates that:
1) take money from big banks
2) take money from oil
3) are weirdo billionaires (Trump)
4) take money from weirdo billionaires (anything funded by the Kochs, I bet)

I assume he was talking about the billionaire weirdos like the Koch brothers, and the ones on the other side. I totally thought he meant the "establishment" candidates, since they are the ones who have been paid for many times over.

If someone can find it, post Rock's "black people in white movies" clip from last night. Also his monologue.

They cut at least one entire scene out, and half the Martian scene. That's weird.

I had a hard time finding that clip. The monologue is everywhere.

Jada finally responds to Chris Rock's slam.

If you don't want to read the article, let me quote how the writer summed up her response:
It was a pretty vague response - not dissimilar from the equally unclear purpose of boycotting the Oscars.

Ha! Slammed again!
