Dumb-asses.
Aquarium researcher Keiichi Sato told AP the aquarium did not break any laws by using the shark in an exhibit. He said the exhibition was used for educational purposes.

"Many visitors had asked us to exhibit the great white shark," Sato told AP.

The 11.5-foot-shark initially appeared to be doing well in the tank, though it refused to eat any food since its capture, AP reported.

Hands up those of you who thought it'd live. The record for a young or juvenile great white living in captivity is about 200 days. There has never been an adult great white successfully kept for longer than a few days before it died or got turned loose.

When I go eat Suishi tonight I'm gonna accuse the chef of being a shark killer.

AFTER he makes my delicious Salmon nigiri, obv.

This idea was dumb as hell, though.
