Wasn't that like after 2 seasons? I am actually drawing a blank as to when Hunnycut came on.

Trapper took off after 3 seasons. He didn't like being overshadowed by both Alan Alda, Alan Alda's ego, Alan Alda's self-righteous smugness, etc.
