Alright. I'm on a mission from god. I'll be watching the series of Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, & Hellraiser in full.
This thread will serve as the dumping ground for those flicks that don't deserve their own threads. There will be many of them.
Halloween III : Even Uwe makes better films than this. Yes, I really mean that. There is one sequence worth watching. After those two minutes elapse, just turn the film off.
Verdict : .5 stars.
Halloween IV : Better than average horror sequel acting from a few folk. Definitely a better director than the flick deserved. The opening sequence is well-done & the flick only goes downhill from there. There's numerous supernatural things that happen which aren't fully or even partially explained. The writer himself says that the script was rushed cos he had to beat the deadline for the screenwriters' strike back in the day. Taking into account that excuse, the script is crap. The music is still full of riffs on Carpenter's old score, but overall is done well.
Verdict : 1.5 stars
