I also find it hilarious that there have been 241 homicides in the city this year (so far), but Spike Lee making a movie about it gets more national attention and HE'S the bad guy?
It's bullshit. He's a filmmaker. He's not the guy who is shooting folks. It's like getting mad at a doctor who couldn't save your son after he'd been shot participating in a gangland shootout.
