It's been predicted for a long time. This is strong enough evidence to be called "proof". At least proof that there is some sort of world-wide liquid ocean, although the actual type of liquid in question isn't technically yet proven.

The water part can still be called predicted. Although it's unlikely to be anything else at this point.
