Mortal Kombat reboot

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

From here.

I distinctly remember seeing the first one in theatres. It wasn't that bad, but the fight sequences involving Linden Ashby (Johnny Cage) & Sonya (Bridgette Wilson) used shitty camera\film tricks to compensate for the fact that neither of them had a prayer of making you believe they were life-long martial artists. Then there was Chris Lambert trying to pull off the Chinese peasant look. Dear Christ on a crutch.

I also remember seeing the second one in theatres. It made "Batman and Robin" look good by comparison.

The original MC sequel is among the worst movies I've ever seen in theaters.

Indeed. I remember the group I was with (about a dozen sci-fi nerds) burned our ticket stubs outside the theater afterwords.

Near the end of the flick it seemed like the producers ran out of money because all of a sudden i was watching bad clay stop motion animation.

Goddamnit. James Wan is set to fuck up the MK reboot.
