Because nature decided there's not enough shit around that can poison you.
It turns out that the venom produced by Greening's frog is twice as powerful as the venom of a deadly snake called the Brazilian pitviper.
Fuck you, nature.

Mother Nature puts clear warning labels on venomous things. Peeps need to stop bitching and keep their hands to themselves.

Most frogs are only poisonous. These are the first ones found that can deliver toxins actively. They look much the same as a poison dart frog.
I'm surprised these weren't found in creation's recycling bin, aka Australia.

'Mother Nature' also evolved us to explore things by touching them and enjoy doing it, so that bitch can go sit on a tent peg.
The first person to die by the poison was Mother Nature's warning. Everyone else to die by it is Darwinism.

'Mother Nature' is totally fastidious about displaying her warning labels prominently.
Unlike other snakes that tend to run away from human disturbance, the death adder's method of hunting by ambush inclines it to stay, leading to the notion that the death adder cannot hear. [...] When hungry, death adders bury themselves among the substrate. This may be leaf litter, soil or sand, depending on their environment. The only part of themselves they expose are their head and their tail, both generally very well camouflaged. [...] A death adder can go from a strike position, to strike and envenoming their prey, and back to strike position again, in less than 0.15 seconds.
