DC fucked up Green Lantern so badly they aren't even going to attempt a solo movie next time.

I think DC's biggest issue is that they tried to cast a name rather than someone that would fit the role. Ryan Reynolds should have been The Flash, not Green Lantern. Beyond that maybe hirin people who understand the character to write the plot would help...

In terms of flat out fucking up an established property on the first try, Green Lantern is up there with Doom. On another note, I think I want Alien v. Predator v. Terminator v. Doom.

Here's the thing and something everyone is forgetting in their excitement for BvS: Green Lantern was made by WB who owns DC! DC was directly involved in making that movie and it sucked!

In fact, the only DC movies that have been good are the Nolan Batman films that DC had nothing to do with. Even the first Batman was all Burton and not DC.

BvS will suck unless DC has learned from Marvel.

1) They don't have the one or two creative gurus in charge that Marvel does.
2) They irrevocably fucked this movie when they cast Affleck. That already guarantees I'm not wasting $7.50 on a bad gamble.
