Best Pixar CGI graphics yet.
Since Pixar just sold out to Disney, possibly the last decent Pixar film.
I liked The Incredibles better. If The Incredibles was about the evils of government-enforced conformity, then Cars is about "having character counts." A worthy enough message.
Cars is pretty much Doc Hollywood with cars instead of people.
And the pacing is a little slow.

Yeah, but it's with cars instead of people......................
As for my Disney jab, I got that idea from the fact they they closed their regular-cartoon-movie department in favor of going all CGI with movies.
They think their latest movies didn't do well simply because kidz want their cartoons in cgi, now. It has nothing to do with the fact their latest cartoons have sucked and Pixar's haven't.
So Disney bought Pixar. And there's a good chance that Pixar will be tainted with the Disney suck, now.

Here's how I rank the Pixar movies:WSGrundy wrote:Cars is easily the worst of the pixar films but still worth watching once.
1 - The Incredibles
2 - Finding Nemo
3 - Monsters, Inc.
4 - Toy Story
5 - Toy Story 2
6 - Cars
7 - A Bug's Life
#1 and #7 were easy to place. The rest.... on different days they could be at different places.

I disagree. Cars should easily be #7. Beyond that, one could make a case for any and all to be ranked #1-6.

Swing and a miss.
