FDA took notice.
The department gave food manufacturers three years to remove the partially hydrogenated oils, or PHOs, from their products. The companies can petition the FDA for a special permit to use it, but no PHOs can be added to human food unless otherwise approved by the FDA.

On Bill Burr's podcasts he routinely rants about how our food is poison, and it amazes him that people don't seem to give a shit.

He's right.

Crest, among other companies, has been putting little balls of plastic into toothpaste for years and it got less air time than Caitlyn Jenner.

Our priorities are fucked.

Eh... little plastic beads in toothpaste doesn't much bother me. Stupid, but I'm not overly concerned about that. Those with kids that are prone to eating toothpaste, I can understand being concerned.

But I agree people are way too cavalier about where their food comes from.

On the treadmill with you fat fat fattie.

Actually, I'm hoping a lot of physical labor out in the country might help me out some as well.

On the one hand, it'd be interesting to see what a change in lifestyle would do for me.

On the other hand, it's hot as balls outside.

Temperatures hit 90 degrees in Raleigh shortly before 9:30 a.m., and rose to 99 degrees by 2 p.m.

101 now. Heat index 104. I went for a run around noon, and it sucked.

Mankind got all this tech and progress so we didn't have to do that shit manually anymore.

No way in hell I'd be out in that.
