I was never a regular watcher of his show, but I would stop on it when I was up and he was on. Always liked him. It's funny because I was just thinking about alcoholism the other day and our conversations about suicide here in another thread. The alcoholism isn't what causes the suicide. The alcoholism is another symptom of the problem.

I was sort of hoping he'd say something like "and when I finally did sober up I discovered I had a successful career in comedy I didn't remember and a late night talk show."
