This stuff is going to get interesting.
To date the internet has been the wild west, but now Curt Schilling is getting folks fired, people are getting publicly shamed for their beliefs, Ashley Judd is pressing charges, revenge porn is illegal in 1 state with more coming, etc.

On the one hand, free speech and no one ends up bleeding in this situation.
On the other hand, I lean toward my previous argument of eliminating online anonymity, so I am looking forward to her lawyers uncovering these hidden identities and asking them why they said they hoped this woman got raped over, essentially, nothing. I hope they get it on camera, so I can watch them squirm and then hear about how they got fired over it.

If every troll who made threats of one kind or another on Twitter was suddenly arrested, there sadly wouldn't be enough court days this decade to handle it all.

There's no way in hell the court process could be quickened or cheapened enough to get all those cases heard. The backlog would be a decade. It all started when Judd tweeted her opinion that Arkansas was "playing dirty." She has since deleted the tweet and stated that she was concerned for the well-being of the Kentucky players. In the essay, Judd said her uncle expressed similar thoughts on Twitter but was spared the hateful comments she received. "Being a male sports fan is his immunity from abuse," she said.
