Of course, as always, any measurable difference in outcomes between groups is NEVER due to any actual difference in those groups. It's ALWAYS BadThink that causes it.

Men are more likely to be described as a star, knowledgeable, awesome or the best professor. Women are more likely to be described as bossy, disorganized, helpful, annoying or as playing favorites

Occam's Razor tells us to assume these descriptions are probably accurate. ThinkProgress tells us: the students are biased.

Maybe they should stop being bossy, disorganized, or annoying.

I don't know, I think there's something there. There've been similar things about female bosses. I do believe that many people have different perceptions of how men and women should behave, and therefore different judgments of the same actions.

I've known a lot of women in business who, when they act aggressive like men, get called bitch, whereas it's fine for the man.
It's not me, it's someone else.

Bobby: I just wanted to say you don't have to worry about me, 'cause I'm never gonna have sex.
Hank: Whoa, Bobby, now don't say that!
Bobby: I thought that's what you wanted.
Hank: Well, yes, if you were my daughter, but you're my son.
Bobby: Why is it not okay for girls, but it's okay for boys?
Hank: It's called the Double Standard, Bobby. Don't knock it, we got the long end of the stick on that one.
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."
