New Girl - Yay! Netflix

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

This is the show with Zooey Deschanel described as "manic pixie girl" who moves in with a bunch of guys. I heard it was good because it was really about the dudes who have their lives affected by her presence.

It was ok. It was "light," and I was ready for "light" after marathoning House and Burn Notice and Breaking Bad and everything else, lately.

Over the seasons the guys go from "different woman every night" to... well, some of them become sort of incompetent buffoons. I guess that was Zooey's affect on them.

Also, one guy is the most flamingly effeminate heterosexual since Lyle.

We watch that. Jess is generally the least compelling reason to watch the show. Schmidt is funny.

I like the show, but am only at the end of season 1.
It's not me, it's someone else.

I don't know if it is the actor or the writers, but the guy playing "Schmidt" is one of the funniest people on TV.

Also S4 is on 'flix.
