The expansion to F.E.A.R.

Servicable. More of the exact same thing from the original game. Starts where the original left off.

I found it creepy, scary, and entertaining.

And more open-ended. Look for a F.E.A.R. 2.
"Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid."
