I tuned in once for about three minutes, the read-headed guymade an outrageously stupid pun, and that was enough for me.

Gil Grissom rocks. He can get away with that shit. This other joker can't.

The red-headed dude is David Caruso, I think. Yea, he doesn't've the same bad-assedness that Bill Petersen projects. & David Caruso has taken on more roles that suck than Bill. Thus, it is easier to think of Dave as a fucking pussy. His stint on the early "NYPD Blue" makes up for much of that, though.

All the CSI's are pretty stupid. I watch them when nothing else is on (I don't have cable or satellite), but sometimes they pull something so stupid I just have to turn it off.

I've gotten past their abilities to pull a license plate number from a cell phone picture or grainy B&W security camera. Oh yeah, and seeing them trace an impossible computer address to someone's house in a matter of seconds. Otherwise I couldn't watch any of it.

But I like police dramas, so I can suspend a lot of annoyance if at least the story is decent. Last one I had to turn off was a CSI:NY when they lifted a fingerprint from a melting piece of ice.
