Paul Walker is a low level mafia enforcer who loses a gun that ties his boss to a murder. The problem is that a kid got a hold of it and used it in a different shooting. Now he's racing his mob, the Russian mob, a pimp, and street thugs to find the kid and the gun.
The box cover says this movie "makes Kill Bill look like Sesame Street." Uhm...no.
Kill Bill was a well written and beautifully directed revenge film. It focused on one character's journey. Running Scared is action packed and entertaining, but it's no Kill Bill.
Running Scared follows multiple characters not one, and while it flows well, the writing is when it comes to the story details and realism.
It's worth a single viewing, just make sure your brain is in the off position.
