For a woman.

Good thing the sex never, ever slows down in a marriage. He might someday regret getting rid of his hobby.

Well, at least he did it voluntarily (right?)

And at least she's sorta cute... needs better pics.

That is the test to see if she is the right woman. When you say "I'm going to get rid of all my video games to pay for a wedding." She is suppose to say "Absolutely Not!"

If she says anything else why the hell would you marry her?

This should also be the point where his friends step in and kick his ass for being an idiot.

Sad thing is, $3600 wouldn't put a dent in most wedding's bills.

Not to mention Ebay and Paypal are going to take most of that money.

If he's done with gaming and would have sold it all anyway but just hasn't gotten around to it, then it's fine.

If he's doing this because he thinks it will make her happy, or worse because she asked him to, then their marriage is doomed.

It is fine that he sold if if he is done with the hobby but he is still a douche because he should be spending that cash on his next hobby and not the wedding.

True. My bets on the other one being true, anyway. I can't see someone having that much of a stockpile giving it up because he was tired of it all and never wanted to do it again.

There's just no reason to even discuss it. OF COURSE she made him do it.

"Why do you want to keep all this stuff? It takes up too much space."

He had to have heard it a billion times a day. His whipped ass went ahead and sold it. There's just no other explination for it.

Personally, I find the whole concept of a wedding a complete waste of money, so I'm probably not the best judge here, but if either of these two think this guy can just dump an obsession and they'll live happily ever after, then they're both insane.

Still, he seems to have kept a few brain cells in his big head working as the reserve wasn't met.

Considering a similar collection recently went for $15,500, I'd bet his reserve is somewhere in the 10K range.

There's a non-photoshopped pic of the girlfriend there too.

The RIGHT woman would forbid him from selling his collection, Gift of the Magi style.
