I couldn't find a thread called Elf, so here it is.
Will Ferrell plays a human that is raised by Elves. Eventually, he leaves the North Pole to find his father and hilarity ensues.
Cute movie.
Everyone was well cast and nobody phones it in, but some of the character driven plot lines are rushed along in favor of gimmick jokes. The girl and father are prime examples here.
This is a good family movie with a lot of laughs, but could have used a little more time to become a classic.
