OK, these remote purchase/sell skills. How exactly do they work? I can already buy stuff that is far away, I just have to go there to pick it up.
Visibility/Procurement.
Do these skills let me buy and sell and have the good go to/come from my current station?
Or can I just place a buy order somewhere, but I'd still have to go there to pick it up?

Procurement lets you place buy orders that can be filled from far way. You've probably seen green-outlined buy orders that weren't in the same station you were in at the time, those were placed with the procurement skill. I don't know for sure that the goods show up where you placed the order, but I bet they do or the skill wouldn't be quite as useful since you'd have to go around picking up the goods.
Visiblity I don't know what's up with. I'm sure it is related to placing sell orders, but I've not seen sell orders with green highlights nor had any show up where I was when the item was elsewhere so either no one does them or they work differently from procurement.
