I'd vote for Opal. The wackjob you know is better than the wackjob you don't.
I remember ranting about Carty last time he was mayor.

I vote Opal

If Ford is that ineffective, how could Opal be any worse? Sounds like she'd be more entertaining.
I still remember one year Carty ran , and one of his opponents had an add that featured a battery powered row boat going in circles describing how Carty kept switching parties. Ah, the good old days.

Toledo gov't is still 300% less insane than Memphis gov't.

You are generally correct but in part you are confusing Keith Wilkowski with Gozdowski. Keith is much too intelligent to tell a crowd made up of inner-city african-american males that they have bad hygene and need to be told to tuck in thier shirts for job interviews, but Gozdowski did. He is in the botom 3 candidates with Opal.
Thanks

Gozdowski? Is that like some kind of giant radioactive lizard that terrorizes Warsaw?

So that adds another looney to the race and still fingers Keith as the brainiac who endorsed Ford's re-election on Friday and then condemned him upon entering the race the following Monday.

it wasn't wilkowski that said those things about residents of central toledo, it was gozdowski. you should check your facts thoroughly before you spread erroneous information.

Uh oh.
As a resident of North Carolina, this really changes how I will vote in the Toledo mayoral election.

First of all, thank your local media for that info. They should be all the facts I need. I didn't bother wasting my time to watch a debate staring a bunch of asshats who have no chance of getting elected.
Secondly, today is the primary and both of these clowns will most likely be eliminated from contention so neither one matters. (Only two candidates can continue to run after today's primaries. Carty is ahead by 30 points in the polls and actually used alloted campaigning time on the radio today to discuss last night's Philly/Atlanta game instead of the primaries today. I don't know who is in second, Ford maybe, and quite honestly, it doesn't matter.)
Third, both you and the other Wilkowski fan have ignored my point about Wilkowski endorsing Ford on a Friday and then entering the race himself the following Monday citing Ford's inability to properly lead Toledo and the poor job he's done so far. Yeah, Wilkowski sounds like just the kind of decisive leader Toledo needs.
Fourth, I think there are all of two Toledo resisdents here. So go waste your time blowing smoke up your candidate's ass elsewhere.
But hey, good luck today!
