So I'm running standard level 3 missions. No big deal. That is, until I do a mission (don't remember the name) where there are a bunch of bad guys. They are beating me up pretty bad. Not gonna be able to tank through the whole fight and kill them. Will have to pull back and heal. But, uh oh, I'm being scrambled. Up close and personal, 2 units of blocking, scrambled. But, never fear, I've got 2, yes TWO WCS's installed. I put them on this ship so that I can for sure escape pirates right now. CAN NOT afford another ship loss. So, I warp away to safety, heal up, head back and win the fight. Had it not been for my dual WCS setup, I would have died.
So, the moral is, just cause you are running missions in .8 space with no chance of PK trouble, it's still a good idea to load WCS's for your protection. I had 3 loaded, but took one off so I could load an armor repair unit so I didn't have to dock (or pay the high repair costs) if I took armor damage. Damn good thing there weren't two ships scrambling me. . .
NPC story, and lesson. . .
I remain forever a hater of the WCS, if I need it, I'm probably doing something wrong in the first place.
I'm sure if I lose a couple ships, I'll feel more inclined, but right now I really just can't fit em into my loadouts!
If you were doing the "Spy Stash" be sure to kill the interceptors FIRST, then the cruisers.. then the Sentries.
Inties are always the primary target, when I'm doing missions.

Ya, that's pretty much the order I do things too. However, they were just hitting too hard. And, I have plenty of room in my low slots for them. What would I put there if not WCS? I already have damage control and armor repair. I guess I could have done balistic control, but it certainly wouldn't have helped me there!
OK, here are the ships I had in my last Spy Stash:
Pithi Saboteur
Dread Pithi Saboteur
Pithi Wrecker
Dire Pithi Arrogator
Pithum Annihilator
Pithum Nullifier
Dread Pithi Demolisher
Dread Pithi Despoiler
Dread Pithum Mortifier
Pithum Nullifier
Pithum Annihilator
Second Phase
Light Missle Battery
Dread Pithum Killer
Pithi Saboteur
Pithi Plunderer
Heavy Missle Battery
Tower Sentry Guristas II
Third Phase
Dread Pithi Destructor
Dire Pithi Imputor
Dread Pithum Inferno
Pithum Nullifier
Dread Pithum Mortifier
Go for the Sentry Guns first, cuz of the damage, but I don't see who there can warp jam.

It's not me, it's someone else.
The warp scrambler guy was a bounty hunter. He would fly right up to me and start scrambling. He could tank like a mofo, so taking him out first wasn't an option cause there were a ton other things beating me up. Had to take all of them out first.
The Bounty Hunter Okochyn?
He has 20km range, with level 2 strength. Glad I haven't run into him
