This monitor "lists" for $499, but there's always coupons and such. I ordered one last Friday for $320 (shipping/tax included). It arrived today.

I love it. Sure, it's not the best one out there, but for $320? Love it.

Right now I'm running the 21" CRT and the 19" LCD next to each other. Love the space. Think the wife will make me move the 21", but for right now, I love it.

Yeah saw a deal for that here. It's really tempting but I need to upgrade lots of other stuff first.

I bought my 21" Vivitron in '98 for $800.

Hope it never, ever dies on me.

Yeah, last week the deal was $300, now it's down to $270 with the additional 10% coupons that came out this week.

I might buy another one.

My 21" was a Trinitron from ~2001 that was about $400 as a refurb. Need to find a use for it now.

When I hit the link, it puts it in my cart at $499. How do you get it all the way down to $270?

Sorry, forgot the link.

Step 1: Use code from this thread. (BV9QW3GBZBNGCG) [Drops price to $300]
Step 2: Buy 10% small business coupon from eBay. Linky linky
Step 3: Buy.

Apparently this expires today. (At least, the additional 10% in step 2 appears to).

The 40% off the monitor does too.

Thanks for the updated info.

AnandTech liked the monitor too. The only issue they really had was that dust could settle on the back light over time.

Sorry, I meant to post that with the original post.

Let me know if you went for it/how you like it.

Day 2, still love it here.

I didnt do a dead pixel test, but I cant see any visibly dead pixels, so Im probably happier not checking.

On sale again:

S0BDZ6HBTFDPSL - 35% off
6KF194JQQZRH2T - $30 off of 300+

OR

Add something about $22-30 (like 25-pack of DVD(+/-)R media) and use
57MG5$JXHC?N4H - 60 off 500 and the 35% off

to get the same price as above (or slightly less) with free media.

Slickdeals.net

The really good ones will show up on the right-hand side of the homepage. the best ones show up in the middle. Lesser ones can be found in the forum.

Finally got one. $294 + tax gets you the monitor and a 128MB USB stick thing. %30 of monitor then $60 off >$500 (after you add the USB thing). Something I found odd though, sometimes when I looked at my shopping cart, shipping was free. Other times, it was $5.20. So, I kept adding and removing the coupons till the free shipping was there, then went through the checkout process. No idea what was up with that.

Anyone know if you can buy multiple times using the same coupons? I'd like to get another one. Is there a limit on how many times you can use the coupons?

I don't know. I did buy 2 at once, once. But I can't rmember exactly how. I think they had a super-dooper $ of off 500+ or 750+ that I used, so it was still just one coupon .

Or not.

Just try it. see what happens.

Yes, I've got 2, and they're still wonderful.

Bought another 1 for the mom-in-law, she still loves hers and another for my dad - he still loves his.

I took advantage of that last offer, got it the next day when selecting their standard shipping method, nice. Got the free flash drive the day after that.
