Here's an article detailing the trouble companies are having because their consumers hate thier automated systems and hate talking to untrained people who don't speak the language. The author goes into detail explaining how the companies can solve this problem.
How about just hiring Americans to do the work and giving every caller an immediate option of talking to someone live?
