Recently bought a Dell UltraSharp 1905FP for my PC. I also bought an e193fp for my secondary business PC. Figured, I don't do gaming etc on it. Don't need high performance. Can save some money. Plugged in my 1905FP on my PC and it was definately different than my old CRT, but, no real complaints. Other than I wish I could set it higher than 1280 x 1024. But over all, it looked really good. Just plugged in my e193fp. Oh my gut guzzling sheep cock. It looks aweful. Super bright, which setting the brightness/contrast down/up doesn't help. It changes, but, things still seem 'bright'. Maybe it's a sharpness issue. I don't know. All I know is it's a strain on the eyes to look at. I don't like it at all. It suuuuuuucks. Don't buy these. I hate it. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it. I'm dreading the call to Dell to find out what my options are. This is where I get the mail order fuck in the ass because I'll have to pay to ship back this pile of crap and then pay more to get the better monitor I should have bought in the first place. Shouldn't have put my faith in the Dell name. FUCK I hate this monitor cause it sucks. Well, I'm now blind after reading this as I typed it cause this monitor sucks so bad. So, don't buy this monitor. The other one is good. I'd scroll up and see what the model number is again and type it in, but, I'm blind now and I don't remember the model number of the good one. It's the one that Catt posted about a while ago though. You know what I mean.

I wonder if my dog will make a good seeing eye dog.

Thanks Dell.

P.S. PLease forgive any typing mistakes. I'd proof read, but, I'm blind now.

Yeah, the deal people really hate those e193fp monitors.

They only buy 1905FPs.

Sorry.

Now that you're blind you have an excuse for not gaming any more.

Call up Dell.
Say you were excited to get the monitor but there's a big problem with it. You pull up your favorite porn sites, but the display is so bad that everybody looks like <name a minority group>. Then tell them that they can of course understand how terrible it is to see filthy <minority name> fornicating like the soulless savages they are. Then demand that they replace your monitor.

Oh yeah. The minority I suggest is women.

Within 3 days of receiving the monitor, we called Dell customer service and expressed our displeasure with the monitor. Explained we'd bought two other monitors (the good ones) and loved them, but this one was just aweful. We didn't want it. They said ship it back. So we did. Cost us $12 to send it back. Dell refunded the total amount they billed us for the monitor, including the shipping I paid to get it. So, I'm only out the $12 is cost to send it back. Being that I expected to not get the shipping I paid to get it, that was a surprise. There was also no restocking fee. So, it was an aweful, aweful monitor (my eye sight is slowly returning), but, at least Dell was pretty good about taking it back. Would have been PERFECT if they paid for me to send it back, but, that's mail order. . .

Anyway, wanted to post a quick follow up. When I bought it, I felt totaly and completely screwed by Dell. But, they took it back and refunded more than I thought they would. So, I'll buy from Dell again someday. Like, when those monitors go on sale again.
