Rhapsody - Blind Guardian-style metal
Back when I was living in a shithole on a street next to the highway, the prick across the hall from me would play shitloads of music. Most of it sucked ass. But every now & then, he'd play some epic metal from a group called Rhapsody, a five-piece Italian band. I finally managed to find some of their music. If metalheads like G want a sample of their tunes, drop a request in this thread. I don't have a bonified file server yet.

I've only had a chance to listen to the first one. I'll see what the second one is like sometime this week.Just ordered, "Symphony of Enchanted Lands, Vol. 2: The Dark Secret."

If anyone liked their heavy metal laden with fantasy and backed by a full orchastra with allegory provided by Cristopher Lee, then this album is for you.
You oughta check their other shit sometime. The "Emerald Sword" single may be their most popular/well-known piece.

This album has warranted further exploration of the catalogue.

Can someone fix this thread?
I finally purchased this CD last year, but I bought too much music too fast and I didn't have a chance to really LISTEN to it until recently.
Not only is Christopher Lee providing allegory, he fucking SINGS. On a prog metal (opera metal?) album.
And he is really fucking good.

I've always respected Lee's skillz, but this just puts him into a new category, for me.
