That was the one of the key points for me.
Also, early on everyone'd the same problems that'd later develop into a full-blown hissyfit (George's nerves, Paul's drugs, John's insanity, & Ringo's being the worst drummer in fucking history), but in the first half of their careers they just put up w\ it & still cranked out decent tunes. Certainly more pop than interesting, though.
