Been discussing in another format....

Null vote, here. I have an opinion but don't wish to share at this time.

I null voted too to balance out Gordon's non-vote because I have an opinion too, but it's the opposite of Gordon's.

Like other wildlife doesn't frequent the beach.

I've probably seen dogs on beaches 50 times. I've seen them piss or shit on the beach maybe 40 times. I've seen the owners clean it up zero times.

We see lots of dogs at the beach, but I honestly have no memory of seeing one poop in the past several years.

I think you should change it to assholes on the beach.

It's even worse when there are posted "no pets allowed" signs and the beach is really crowded. We left one day when a dog took a massive dump about 10 feet away from where my baby was playing in the sand and the owner just kicked sand over it and walked away.

Might as well go play in a public sewer canal.

These people know that no one is going to call the cops on them.

It really sounds like you are going to the wrong beaches at the wrong times.

And for you to not like all dogs/owners just because a few pissed you off is really racist.

I think loud, obnoxious disrespectful kids are more of a problem at beaches than dogs are. I think all kids should be banned from the beaches. And drunk people. How much beer piss sand have I walked through? And sand covered vomit for that matter.

Bottom line, it's about respect. ASSHOLES should be banned from beaches. Not dogs, alcohol, etc. Well, kids maybe. But not that other stuff.

But there are just some people that don't like other people on their lawns. . . .

Do all forum members not have a voice? Very often, my voice is my wife's voice. . .

Well, that's one way to interpret that.

I wouldn't ever bother buying beachfront property w/a private beach unless I could fence it off.

So maybe it's just me.

You all go to the wrong beaches. Nothing like that ever at our beach.

Have fun codifying that.

Saw it to a lesser extent on Topsail, mainly due to it having fewer people overall.

Weird, we always go to Pine Knoll Shores, right between those two. Admittedly, one side of our place was a hotel that was torn down, so there's not a ton of people around.
