Based on the video game. I'm guessing loosely. I've never played it, but I know people who did, did not love this movie.
5 20-somethings go on a trip looking for one of the group's missing sister. They end up at a place where the rain surrounds it like a wall, and they get murdered each night by different things. It's not Groundhog's Day: The Horror, although that movie is referenced in the movie, as there is a time limit where they must do something to change the cycle or they become a part of the horror forever.
The baddies are really generic save for a menacing masked killer who in one scene is able to get hit in the back of the head with furniture and not flinch, but in another scene gets staggered by essentially the same thing.
Doing a bit of research and it turns out the guy who plays Dr. Hill in the game is also the actor in this film. That's pretty cool.
Anyway, while there are cool kills, it's not a very good horror movie. Skip it.
