So one night while trying to get into Ark I got pissed and looked at my unplayed list. There was Dishonored, so I loaded it up...

You're the bodyguard for an empress. She gets murdered on your watch. Everyone thinks you did it and throw you in jail. Time for some vengeance.

FPS that you can play in one of two ways, and they drastically alter how the game plays and the outcome.

Play it like Thief and don't kill anyone (or only kill specific targets). You'll get the best ending because really the only "evil" folks are the ones that framed you. This is the way I played it, and it was honestly very satisfying.

Play it like you play most FPS and kill everyone. Shit gets dark.

You can upgrade your character throughout. Both weapons and powers that come from a subplot with some sort of deity. I think he wanted me to play darker.

I had planned to add one complaint here, but I can't think of it at the moment. If I do in the future, I'll come back to edit.

Solid game with an interesting world. I'd recommend it to any fan of FPSs once it hits $5 during a Steam sale. Highly recommended for fans of stealth games like Thief or the original Splinter Cell games.

Also, Dishonored 2 is being developed.
