I know the band's name, but cannot name a single song.

Do they suck? Not suck?
"Happy slaves are the worst enemies of freedom." - Marie Von Ebner
"It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies..." - Orwell

They're the band headlining Dell Tech World this year.

What's their biggest hit?

Told my wife last night. She was excited. "Finally, a country group!"

Then I played her their most popular song...

We're showing up late to grab goodies and food and then jetting.

Man... do I dislike folk rock more than I dislike country? Good question. In theory I Don't, but I realize I just don't hear much of it. Country is everywhere.

Sever.
To be fair, she didn't know who they were. She just thought they were country.

I don't understand the context. Not knowing a band isn't country makes her more desirable because country absolutely fucking sucks.

It's because she was excited about country music, I assumed.

Fair point. I'll discuss it with her at dinner tonight.

Full sentences usually help provide more context than single words.

I was falling sleep to Family Guy last night and I heard a Mumford and Sons joke.

Someone was telling the main Mumford guy, "Go forth and write the same song 25 times."
