Microsoft and Google have early versions out there.

Add Amazon to that list.

Am I the only one who has zero interest in such a thing?

I don't know if I'm interested or not... I kinda like the idea, but I don't see that it buys me a whole lot

That's the point.

Hard drive space is cheap as hell, so what perk does this give me exactly?
Higher broadband bills?
Less access to my games?
Forced subscription services?

Right? When I'm at home, my bandwidth is fabulous, and this works great. But when I'm at the gym (kid at rock climbing class) or on a plane, or at a hotel for work, this is garbage.
