I'm curious as well, although I have my suspicions about what you are referring to.

I don't consider relatively unfounded speculation to be a type of spoiler, but rather a valid form of entertaining discussion.

Star Trek Japanese trailer. A few extra frames of footage, including another possible spoiler at the end. I really hope they aren't going that way... it wont work, this time.

That could be a massive swerve job, but I'm with you. My initial reaction is that this is a new timeline, they're not even friends. It won't work yet.

Not Kahn.
The Sherlock actor will take on the role of John Harrison in the film, but the back story and motives of his character have been shrouded in mystery. Speaking to Screen Rant, Abrams said: "His name is John Harrison and he is sort of an average. That is what makes him so scary – he is just an average guy who works in an organization called Starfleet, and he turns against the group because he has got this back-story and this kind of amazing secret agenda."

He went on to say: "After two very violent attacks, one in London and one in the US, our characters have to go after this guy and apprehend him. And it is a far more complicated and difficult thing than they ever anticipated. Into Darkness is very much about how intense it gets and really what they are up against."

Correction ... the visual representation of Angel has a cameo. The chick that did her voice is separate from the live action.

Entertainment Weekly identifies him as Khan.

Although, it might just be speculation.

More speculation that it's Khan or a relative...

I don't care what that guy says, the Gary Mitchell angle would make sense too.

I really think this new universe of Trek needs TV show to begin expanding the mythos.

I don't think so. That guy looks nothing like Ricardo Montalban.

Scratch that. There's an F on the end, not a P.

Takes you here.

Newsarama review.

I don't think it contains spoilers, but I skimmed.

Basically, the guy loved it more than the first one.

Very solid flick, but...lots of things I can't discuss without spoilers.

If you like Star Trek, see it, but I don't need to tell you that.

Actually, let me add that the movie is quite entertaining, even though you'll see everything coming from a mile away.

Brilliant fucking movie.

I may still be on the "holy shit that was awesome" high. Take my recommendation as you will. But I now have a favorite movie of all time.
