Engineer is my most played class so far by a wide margin. I only have, like, 4 max kills in one life so far, but I did have a sentry gun that had over a dozen kills.

I just learned last night about the right-click rotate thing, so I'll be much better next time I play. So far I've mostly been focusing on teleports, and sentry guns has been my secondary concern. A couple of times when our spawn point advanced I've jumped in front of a heavy on purpose to pop back to the new spawn to update the tele entrance, instead of running back.

Apparently when you are holdign a blueprint you can right-click to rotate it 90 degrees to the right. Repeat until you have it pointed the way you want.

Much better for putting things in corners. I've been standing where I actually wanted it facing the way I wanted it to face, and it just had to stick out a bit.

On a related note, today as I walk around the buildings I find myself thinking things like "this would be a good place for a sentry gun" and "forward teleport here if we're going to take the computer labs".

I know, that's where I learned it. I just didn't notice until after the free time was up. I was too busy playing badly.

I liked the conclusion. That's pretty much how I felt about it.

I was on a for a bit, getting better and better with the sniper.

Still love the spy thought, but only on certain maps.

I noticed.

I was having troubles all night with my sniper... my team couldn't keep your team off me long enough for me to be effective. I was always trying to shoot you in the head while being attacked by a heavy, medic, and pyro.

Last map was great, though. Warpath, I played a sniper the entire time. I had duels with a couple enemy snipers, and at the end when we were getting pushed back to our last point my fellow sniper and I stopped an entire rush pretty much by ourselves. 11 blue guys entered the tunnel on the right, and none of them got to the end alive. I beat my headshot record that last map, at the end... 8, and I only had to stop when the game ended.

I've been spending my (mostly) internet-free day by learning how to fine-tune my gaming mouse, better....

Here's the screenshot from the end of that map. Leisher - if you want you can submit this for both of us the FNF's "Century Club." We both had over 100 points.

Or is it 100 kills?

I'll have to check the thread. It might be points.

I started slow that night in the first two maps, but absolutely rocked Warpath and BlackMesa. You see my score in your shot for Warpath and on BlackMesa I scored 145. The next closest person was at 80-something. Granted, I was one of the few who had experience on the map and who stuck it out the whole time, but still I was on fire.

As for the Warpath, I was really, really impressed with how well the two teams were playing. I'd get ubered in that tunnel to your second point, kill some, the medic would yell fall back, then we'd pull back to the tunnel and I'd get ubered again by a different medic. I think Warpath is easily my favorite map right now, followed by Badwater Basin. I had two dominated players (different ones throughout) on my scoreboard almost the entire time we were playing.

And yes, you snipers were phenomenal. That last tunnel in front of your final CP was brutal. At one point I saw three of you standing down there and our team was begging for someone to go sniper and help keep you off the front line folks. I know you got the dominated tag on me in that section.

I only made it into Black Mesa for about 2 minutes. I saw exactly 2 rooms and a hallway.

Near the end of the map I saw a sniper or two waaaay back in the distance... so far away I could only see the silhouette of their jaunty, outback hats. I think I broke my personal record for headshot distance. And, no way in hell I would have been able to make those shots without my gaming mouse. The guy that shows "Dominated" on my screenshot above was one of your snipers... earlier that battle he had a domination on me, so he didn't suck, but mostly your demo men were spamming our ramp at point 3, and I had to dodge their grenades and try to get him, and he was hunkered down and headshotting me over and over. We never retook that point after we lost it, mostly because I couldn't get a toehold and start sending you guys back to your respawn. It is cool how most of the classes compliment each other so well.

And that was the first map I remember ever getting a domination on you... if it wasn't so hectic I may have stopped for a screen shot.

It says "100 kills" but then in all of the actual screenshots, they are under 100 kills but over 100 points.

Plus, medics don't get a lot of kills, typically.

Anyway, I posted our pic. Go vote it a 5.
