As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Skywalker actually works for that in a universe where people travel among the stars like we commute in cities.

But where would Skywalker have originated? Someone just decided that was their new last name?

People don't do that any more. I'm not Catt RichGuy :P

I guess the argument is people were more like the past, or maybe they were slaves without last names or something.

Vegas just put the odds at 5:1 that you're going to make Mrs. Catt call you that in bed.

Star Wars did happen a long, long time ago...

And yeah, I thought those names were adopted, not given?

Troy, if I want to watch this show, do I need a primer? I've seen Rogue One, and absolutely zero Disney+ series.

I really, really want to be done with Star Wars after Disney has so thoroughly fucked it, but you're making a good argument for this show.

Andor 1, Andor 2, Rogue One, then you can go into the OT if you want. No other Star Wars media need exist.
