I noticed that the price of Archeum has come down a little since the opening of Auroria. Before I would be lucky to find a crystal for under 15G, last night I saw some going for as low as 12G. Hopefully the prices keep falling, that will help the crafters.

What are the stats/DPS like compared to your conquerors bow? and what is the name of the bow? just Hasla bow?
Actually, wouldn't the transfer of properties require some additional items? Cake seemed to know this stuff previously...
I'd be interested in the house, mainly to put down a storage chest and macro stealth/riding my mounts, but wouldn't cry if someone else claimed it. What are the taxes on a house?

My old bow is a unique Jadegale Bow (the best non-dungeon bow although Auroria might have added a new one?):
DPS - 171.7
Agility - 32
Int - 22
Getting the bows is a grind. I got lucky one night and ended up with a great raid. 7 folks and each rolled for a different token. We were focused and the raid grounds weren't packed. I happened to draw multiple Courage tokens from those giant fat dudes at the end. Took me up from 10ish to 80 in one raid. After that, it was all 1 by 1. Just had to go whenever I had time. With a group or without. During peace or war. During the massive spawn or not. Etc.
What would be great is if we could find a party to go with. Preferably 7 folks who don't mind taking turns going for the different coins so people can power grind. Not everyone will even want everything...except courage.
Now that I have the T1, when I'm with you guys I'll happily defer courage until you guys get your bows. I'll roll for honor (when Cake's done) and sacrifice. When I'm with randoms I'll continue to roll courage.
What does Compassion get you? I noticed Stranger's list from earlier in the thread, and Compassion was left off of it.
Cake, how come Scooty was in Hasla the other night during the rift yet wasn't in our raid?
In different news, just did some math on the current price of APEXs. They're going for 108 when I looked at the AH just now. Some even higher. Meanwhile, WC potions are going for 18+.
If you pay $20 for 2 APEXs, you get 2500 credits. That's enough to buy 8.33333333(and so on) WC potions at 300 credits each. The in game value of 8 WC potions is 144gp. So $20 = 144 gp meaning each APEX is worth 72sp. However, 2 APEXs are currently valued at 216gp. That means you're actually paying $30 if you buy your 2 APEXs in game right now.
Crazy overpriced, but it makes sense when you consider that the people buying them in game aren't spending real money.

YUCK! I'm in need of a new bow in a BAD way! still rolling with my Artisan's bow (a laughable 130DPS), still managed to 1v1 some sorry chump last night though.
Did you get that Jadegale bow from the Hasla quests? and did it drop as a Unique? that's pretty nice.. I should at least go and get that bow until I can get the Hasla bow. I'm a loooong ways away from that, and I seriously HATE the grind of getting them tokens in that small ass area. Looks like I've got no other choice though If I wanna be any help in the PvP scene.

Cake, Scooty, and I hit Hasla/Karkasse as a group and ran through the quests together. Scooty made it easier because he was googling exactly what quests we needed to do in order. Some are right there for the taking, others you have to run a different quest first. I think we knocked all the Buried Legends armor, BL cap, a sword(?), and the bow out in about 2 hours. That included fighting some reds along the way.
If you do those during peace in Hasla you should have no problems. Peace there lasts 2 hours and because there's so much fighting there in the Hasla Rift it seems like Peace comes multiple times a day (Tension --> War --> Peace).

Property transfer: You need one house certificate per 100g of the price. So, 300g = 3 certs. Certs are bought with credits. They might be on the AH as well. Don't know. There are two types of certs for selling a house. Not sure which of the two is required, or both.
Taxes: Base taxes on small houses and scarecrow farms (actually a medium farm) are 10 certs per week. For each property above two that you own, ALL of your taxes go up 50%. So:
Taxes are normally about 50-60 silver each. Last weekend, the market crashed and they were selling for <40 silver each. I bought about 500. <40 is cheaper than a 10g WC potion which would make 25 certs.
Undecided, but obviously I'd give my stuff to you guys.
I've transferred houses between characters twice. Think it was 300 credits each time. I just put it up for 1 gold and then put my other characters name as the recipient each time. Was very easy.
You should give the PvP scene a try. I was finding things dull as well, and don't get me started on the economy, until I was traveling to Hasla and taking boat trips to deliver trade packs.
The PvP is a lot of fun.

I do enjoy PVP when I do it, I just hate after it's over there is nothing to loot, nothing to take from my enemy and use against him. Maybe I just need to scratch that itch by stabbing/shooting mofos in Rust every once and a while.
That's why I like camping solz docks and trolling the waters. At least you get a trade pack and/or you can blow up a boat. Something for the effort. And there are enough reds carrying packs that you don't even have to pirate. Haven't even been up north yet. Would be fun to align with HoE to take a castle from Blank or Jolly Q.
And the pvp in hasla is somewhat rewarding because you are denying reds the farm.
The Hasla stuff gets insane. Hundreds of players on screen fighting.
I usually just hit tab to target the closest person and start firing.

House of Elrond gives props to GUILD..
A Message From the House of Elrond
Greetings to all of our esteemed Nuian family and honorable Haranian opponents.
I normally don't follow the forums because of the vast amount of bickering and trolling that occurs here. It's just not my personality. However, I did want to take a moment to say that all of you were an important part of an amazingly fun time on Tuesday night. For that I thank you. Congratulations to Blank and Jolly Q on their castles. They are well deserved and it makes perfect sense that the two most successful guilds on the server would continue that success in Auroria.
I also wanted to specifically thank our allies (Mithril Mercenaries, GUILD, Legionaires, Honor Guard, Demolition, Dauntless and The Crusade). You guys were amazing that night and our ability to work together was undeniable. If any readers are looking for great guilds to join who are extremely loyal to our faction that is one great list of guilds.
Additionally, I need to clear a few things up that I've seen floating around on the forums. First, as stated, the only reason that House of Elrond was unable to secure a castle that night was because all of our alliance miners (7 in total) were stuck at the Glyph login screen. This is true for many guilds and I'm not overly upset by it. Had our miners been able to log in, we had plenty of time inside the mines to execute our plan.
Second, House of Elrond is not an ally of Blank. The reason for this is quite simple. Blank is a an amazing guild, they truly are, but their leadership has stated time and again that they will do whatever it takes to make Blank the number one guild. They've also backed these statements up with actions that as a guild we don't support. Because of this there has always been little room for friendship or cooperation. We certainly were not there to fight Blank's battles or to help them secure a castle, just like despite their promises they were not there to to help other guilds secure a castle.
I wish you all the best as you enjoy your game and work towards accomplishing your goals. House of Elrond certainly won't be deterred and will continue to work towards a castle, while bringing more of Nuia together to work towards a common goal. Much love to all of you and congratulations again to Blank and Jolly Q.
WTF is up with the worker's comp potions? I'm guessing there is a TON of grinding going on up in Auroria and those big guilds are over demanding the market. So glad I bought all those tax certs over the weekend. I also have a decent stock of WC potions, but will be saving them for emergencies.
And, holy shit. Tax certs are up to 79 silver each. Maybe I should sell some of mine that I bought at 38 silver.
This is the ONLY good thing about an auction house. There is a market to play. But I would MUCH prefer player interaction over an AH.
Ok. So Greater Howling Abyss. Ya. Right. First boss. 12 attempts. Closest we got was him down to 25%. Watching videos of other people fighting him, we have ZERO tank ability and ZERO dps. They melt him and take no damage. We tick him down slowly and take tons of damage.
So. I dunno. I think we should do Howling Abyss before Greater.
I've heard Hasla weapons are a must for that dungeon.
Remember when Stranger's farm cart got stuck on that hill and we had to go help him? Turns out we were idiots. Go into skills and look for Rider's Escape. Yes, it keeps the trade packs loaded.
Prices are fucking insane right now on everything at the AH. Meanwhile peeps are in faction chat trying to buy things at the old prices like TS logs at 200 when the cheapest ones on the AH are 250.

Caught up on that episode last night. Was pretty good.
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."
Rider's escape is so 2 weeks ago. Been to knowed that.
watching the video, each guy had 10 buffs on them. One guy had 13. He was calling for 'something' every few seconds. Not sure if they were buff resets or what. It looked like one guy who was a mage attacked the boss and the other four supported with stuff and killing the eggs.
I don't think Hasla weapons are the only things we are missing.
You get that? If you paid for 30 days of Patron status, and lose days to this error that's 100% their fault, they will not refund you anything nor will they add those days back onto your account.
When my issue gets resolved, if they don't give me my days back I'm going to file a complaint against them with the BBB. I know it's not much, but I'll also encourage others to do the same.
Might also be a deal killer for me. There's a difference between being incompetent and greedy, fraudulent scumbags.
UPDATE 2:
They're working on it now and have stated they're giving me 5 days for my trouble. We'll see.
