I've never heard of 90 of these artists.

Well, I've heard of 7 of the top 10, but I only own 5 and 8.

I'd about a 50/50 shot of knowing who the fuck they were talking about.

This list is utter crap.
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."

I'm only familiar with 60% of those bands. I've heard of The Avalanches, but don't know if I've heard any of their stuff.

10 The Streets (?)
09 Animal Collective (?)
08 The White Stripes (Pretty good. Wife may have album. I even heard them on NPR awhile back.)
07 Modest Mouse (Okay)
06 Sigur Rós (?)
05 The Avalanches (?)
04 Outkast (Okay. This must be the one Gordo heard of)
03 Interpol (Okay. Wife may own this album.)
02 Jay-Z (Bleh!)
01 Radiohead (Pretty good. Wife has this one.)

The Avalanches are pretty cool. That album has some very good songs on it, and some that are just blah.
