I don't know maybe I don't know what is fun anymore.
But this looks like shit. You are going to be able to rebuy and download old NES, SNES, and N64 games so I get why you can turn the controller on its side for NES games but still.
It may work better than it looks, but I can't imagine how someone green lighted this thing.
Where are all the buttons? Why is the "A" button right next to the directional pad?

Apprently the less buttons you need to press to play a game the more fun it is.
So with the A being right next to the direction pad you really can't comfortable reach it so then developers won't use it? Which will make the game more fun?
It has motion dection in it so if you were playing a fishing game you can make the same motion as casting with the controller and it senses everything so there is fuctionallity beyond the buttons but still.
I don't think I want to keep my arms in the air and move them around the whole time I play a game.
Nintendo has always toyed with gimmicks (remember Robbie the Robot?) and they always bomb. Why are they gimmicking the controllers on their new system?
They've already gotten slammed for the stupid DS touch pad and the motion sensor in it.
People don't want gimmicks, they want good games. That's what Nintendo used to be good at and they need to focus on that if they want to be at the top of the industry again.
