I've been saying that for a decade. I've never seen an HR person that was worth anything.

You know all the stuff going on at the zoo up here? Where they fired the most beloved animal handler or director and it was a huge PR nightmare?

That was Sheri from OAPI.

I haven't seen her at golf league since.

The first position is for an AS400 programmer. The hire date on that one is going to be Dec 1st. The position is in Walbridge, OH. The person will report directly to the CFO.

However, I only know of one AS400 programmer on this board. Hey MD, wouldn't it be nice to have the kids and grandkids home around the holidays? Put the pressure on!!!

The second position is for a Help Desk Operator/Network Technician. Now don't stop reading. I know normally you'd skip over that job as it's entry level, but the salary is going to be 35-40, which in this area is pretty good. Really good in fact. I've seen similar jobs hiring around $10/hour and one at $6/hour. That doesn't even take into account the 25% annual employee profit sharing plan.

This person will report directly to me.

I'll return the favor by giving them interns from the college across the street to boss around.

Last news I heard out of the Toledo Zoo is that they thought some animal was hibernating, so they locked it up for 3 months, and they came back and found it starved to death.

Sherri Caldwell. She was HR under Kris Rogers.

She may have replaced that other girl whose name I cannot remember.

She's the HR guru at the zoo now and is in the middle of the scandal.

Basically, an animal or two died and they fired the head vet. Well, the public went apeshit because it wasn't his fault and he was just a scapegoat. Plus, everything was messed up from an HR standpoint from what I understand. That last bit may not be 100%, it's just what I've heard from other HR people.

Damn. That name sounds so familiar. But, I only remember Lisa (don't remember the last name but makes out with warehouse guys when she's drunk) and Chris Rogers. Did she do anything at OAPI before HR?

unfortunately probably too close to Northwood. I have an idea. Don't tell her you moved home. Keep the house in Jacksonville and only go there when she visits. :p
