From here.

That one about the Journey song... it was being piped over the store speakers, and this 90-year-old chick was singing along to it. Made me feel kind of old, too.

At least she looked 90... I guess it could be a 45 year old stripper. Lotsa strippers around here.

Oh yeah...

Bread aisle.

Wife is taking all day comparing nutritional qualities of different breads.

I was ready to move on so I told her, "It puts the bread in the shopping cart, or it gets the hose again."

I laughed, but she didn't get it.

Get used to these exciting Saturday nights.

What I miss most is sleep. Oh... the first few months are terrible. I guess it's like the sleep deprivation they gave you during boot camp. It breaks you mentally.

You'll find yourself promising your kid a shiney new sportscar if it'll just go to sleep for 20 minutes so Daddy can nap.

Yep, he'll learn like I did that a kid takes up a lot more time than those without would think.

Pshaw.

I hear that time and again... "You have no idea what you're in for."

This assumes two things:

1. I am stupid, have no imagine, or poor planning skills.

2. I didn't grow up helping taking care of three younger sisters. Well, more to the point, I didn't grow up in a house with three younger sisters.

There will be no surprises for me.

So how long is the Momster in Law planning to stay? Thinking about booking a flight and don't really want to be there when she is.

I sense a rivalry.

And Gordo, nobody is implying you're dumb. Ok, well I am, but you're used to that.

Too long, but I'm not sure of the exact dates. I'll find out and let you know.

She's in a beach house, btw. Not with us.

How about while she comes down, you visit, and *I* leave?
